Product Description
The b2 HVA40-5 is a VLF high voltage test set designed for testing medium voltage power cables. The unit provides VLF sine wave, VLF square wave and DC test voltages. It can also be used for cable sheath testing.
The HVA40-5 has a maximum output of 45 kV peak / 32 kV RMS and an output current of up to 120 mA. The test frequency can be selected between 0.01 Hz and 0.1 Hz depending on the cable capacitance and test requirements.
The equipment is suitable for cable testing during commissioning, maintenance and periodic testing of medium voltage cable systems.
