The electric fans and blowers are used in various purposes. The main purpose of fans are cooling, circulating air in a particular area, heating etc.
The blowers are same as fans but these are used for a large cooling system and heating system where the speed required is very large.
Sometimes, it is used for industrial purposes in Thermal power plant, furnaces. These are operated on A.C. and D.C. supply and accordingly different types of A.C. and D.C. electric motors are used.
